I KNEW YOU WOULD BE THE ONE TO ASK ME THIS :’) Oh God how do I even begin though, it’s just that I love Troy and Annie SO much and in the weirdest way possible. Like, back in season one when Annie was in love with him and he was completely oblivious and sometimes a jerk about it, I really really really didn’t want them together. But what I love so much about their relationship is that Annie was able to outgrow her highschool crush in the process of growing up and realising Troy is human after all, but she didn’t end up resenting him. On the contrary, once she didn’t pine after him anymore, that’s when these two developed a connection, imo. And I always want to see more of that connection, which is one of the reasons I was so happy when we found out she’d be moving in with him and Abed. When they had that heart to heart in 2.10 I almost burst into tears because it was so perfect, how full circle their story had come. Troy went from not even knowing her to knowing everything about her and thinking how cool she is and now he builds blanket forts for her and calls her ‘our Annie’. IT IS JUST SO BEAUTIFUL. Also, Troy has a lot of growing up to do and Annie could help him a lot with that. I just want to see them having more scenes where they get to share things and be best friends.
