PART 1 | PART 2

facina-oris:

And so we ask ourselves: will our actions echo across the centuries? Will strangers hear our names long after we are gone and wonder who we were, how bravely we fought, how fiercely we loved?

Doctor Who. You really couldn't give a crap now 11 and Amy are gone.

I did not watch Doctor Who just for Eleven/Amy as a ship. I watched Doctor Who because I fell in love with Amy Pond as a character, so much that I stuck through her story to the bitter end and I watched Doctor Who because I loved Matt’s Doctor a lot, regardless of the storylines and sometimes Eleven’s behavior. I obviously love Eleven/Amy and I always will and sometimes yes, they were the only thing I focused on but trust me, it wasn’t because I was only interested in my ship but because the rest of it was so profoundly bad that I decided the only way to keep watching without raging is to take away just the positive things and those turned out to be just Eleven/Amy for me for quite a lot of episodes unfortunately. Also, anon, I have watched and cared about DW from season 1 to 7, and that includes all seasons without Eleven and Amy in them. The reason I don’t blog about Doctor Who these days is not because my ship is gone and now I have no interest in it anymore (although I repeat even if that WAS the case and a person watched a show just for a relationship you have absolutely no right to judge them) but because I’m just tired of Steven Moffat’s writing. I disagree with practically every view he has on anything, his plots bore me and now that I’m not emotionally invested in either characters of Twelve and Clara (although I love Peter Capaldi a lot and wish he was in the hands of a different head writer) I see no reason to keep watching.

So there. I don’t even know why I just had to explain myself like that but yeah there you go.

I had an inkling you were in it for the ship and not the show. Still makes me sad though. I thought you got it.

Which show are you referring to though? Because currently I’m not into any shows just because of a ship? Seriously, none. Not that I consider it wrong to watch a show mostly because you enjoy a ship, especially if it’s the core of said show.

But Finnick/Annie though :(

AAAH FORGOT ABOUT FINNICK/ANNIE POOR BABIES :( I do love them together and I was SO UPSET when the thing happened but I must say I never like, actively shipped them to the point I would have my life ruined by them. But I did love them and I loved Finnick. Man, I loved that boy :(
